A downloadable asset pack
These assets are the motif serving as the "theme" for the Music Motif Challenge running the weekend of 25 October 2024.
The motif is provided in three formats:
- A MIDI file for easy import into the DAW of your choice or to use in any note-composing software
- An ogg file of the motif in a raw max velocity basic piano patch for those who like to compose by ear
- A printable PDF with the sheet notation for reference

triggered to say "my lodging, it is on the cold ground..." attributed in The First Churcills(BBC, 1969) to Moll Davis by John Neville as John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough (and Moira Redmond as Barbara Villiers, Duchess of Cleveland, in the same scene, who sings the lines) with nearly these notes, in G minor rather than C minor but the relative pitches of the notes are almost the same except 1 note missing
